Before u configure, u have to make the some changes in gmail account.
1. in your gmail account select 'settings'
2. select 'Forwarding and POP/IMAP'
3. in POP Download: enable 'POP for all mail' (and other settings if u want)
4. click on 'Configuration instructions' for more outlook configuration
5. save changes
Reply:Make sure you've enabled POP or IMAP access in your GMail settings at www.gmail.com . Also, check your settings (and ports at) http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answe... for POP access, or http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answe... for IMAP access.
