Accessing Outlook access email using gmail account?

Is it possible to access the emails that you received before you use gmail to access your outlook access acct? I need the information stored in my company email, and tried to configure it. So far I'm able to use the gmail account to send emails using my outlook access email but I can't view the emails I received previously. Can anyone help me out with this?

The simplest answer is often the best... You should be able to set up forwarding from Outlook or even the Exchange account, to forward all mail to your gMail address.

If you don't want to go that route, you can log into gMail and go to Settings, then the Accounts tab. Under "Send mail as..." choose to Add another address.

Give it your mail server (you'll need to get the name of your mail server at work) and your login information, and it can directly check and import your work mail into gMail. You can also send as that e-mail address (something you cannot do if you forward your mail in).

As far as getting older mail messages, you can only do that if the server stores old messages. If your Outlook downloaded them off the Exchange server, and archived them locally, you will not be able to access them. You can see if gMail has the ability to import an Outlook e-mail archive file, though.
