gmail allows you to forward all mails (through mail forwarding facility) or selected mails (through mail filters facility) for no cost. Yahoo charges you for mail forwarding. However you need to have your account in working condition to do this. If you need to close account both sites you faciliate that too (check for settings)

Once he has hacked in, it doesn't take long for him to read a few of your emails, e.g. some from you to others and some from others to you before he knows a lot about you.
For example, one of my ex-girlfriends hacked into my email account and found a draft wedding invitation that my then-fiance had sent to me for our wedding...of course on there it had everything, so she sent a letter to my in-laws with lies trying to break us up...she failed as all it took was some logic and trust and the matter was extinguished...don't forget, if you have attachments, this could worse, i.e. your pictures, your resume or application forms for loans etc...then he would know everything he needs to stalk you.
I strongly suggest you inform the police right away!!! They will have a special electronic crimes department that can help you.

Well, there is only one way of identifying who has blocked you... that's through ''Pidgin'' I guess you are aware of it. Its a default option in Ubuntu / linux. However, once you figureout the usage of pidgin, follow these steps to know who hate you !! lol.. I mean, who blocked you on gatalk.

2. Go to “Buddies” -%26gt; “Show Offline Buddies“. (A person who has blocked you must be showing offline to you. So you need to make all offline friends visible)

Some beta users seem to be getting an error 810003c1 when they try to login to Messenger. This error can be caused if the region setting for your account is not set. You could try using a third POP account like Outlook Express that downloads your E-Mails, then have them forwarded automatically to your new account. It's a round-about method, but it should work.

There's also a link on the left hand side that says Starred, that will list ONLY the starred items.
Keep everything in the archive, and you can search for it with the search bar on top.

When you are composing an email, Look above the text box and you will see Highlighter, Text Colour, A yellow smiley with sunglasses, Text Size thingy, Bold, Underline, Italics, a button with earth and paperclips, Stationary, Insert Line, and more. Click on the smiley guy with sunglasses and you will see 40 smileys! Click on a smiley you want and it will pop up in your text box.
To change the size of the smiley you need to click on the smiley in the text box and click on the corners of the box around the smiley and expand it.

If you 'archive' emails in gmail they will not show up in your inbox. Look for an option to keep/display archived and read emails.

How can I add a video stream to my emails on my Gmail account?
Hello Everyone!
I often send emails to my friends with links to videos in them, so that they can click on the link in the email and it'll take them to the site that has the video.
I was wondering if anyone can think of a way in which I could add a video stream to the email itself! kinda like the thing that you'd find on a blog, so that they would be able to watch the video through the email!

By the way - Internet Explorer is big, slow, insecure and out-of-date. Try Firefox.
Outlook hasn't been updated in years. Try Thunderbird.

If so, go to the Blogger login screen:

I have a problem. My orkut username is not a gmail id. While using google talk if i sign in with orkut username, i am able to chat only with my orkut contacts and not able to chat with my contacts in gmail. And if i login with gmail id i am not able to chat with orkut friends. I tried to change my orkut username with my gmail id. Well this is not a option , but a MUST DO....have your IE updates, Microsoft released a new patch for some major flaw in IE , last week.........so i would recommend u turn on your automatic updates

get a good a malware remover or antivirus and check your computer.
OPTION -2
check and see if u have unessary add-on installed in IE, you can check in Tools %26gt;%26gt; Manage add-on %26gt;%26gt; enable and disable addon
OPTION -3
the ultimate solution ,would be to reinstall your windows OR if u know when the problem started, then try to restore your computer to the previois date using system restore
after that this type problem is start , after some time its problem is esolved automatically...........................

I labeled all the important mail in their respective category but they are still "there to see" in the inbox. I tried deleting a labeled email, hoping that it will still remain when I click on X label, but it deletes it forever!

Click on 'Settings' (Upper-right corner)
Click on the 'Accounts' tab
Click on 'Google Account settings'
If you'd like to close your gmail account, but keep your Google account click on 'edit' next to 'My services'
Finally, Click on 'Delete Gmail Service' and fill out the form on the next page.
Keep in mind you will still have a Google account allowing you to access other Google services, but you will no longer have a gmail account
If you want to close the entire Google account, click on 'Close account and delete all services and info associated with it 'instead of 'Delete Gmail Service

Canceling your Gmail address

As long as you're emailing another AOL user off of your gmail account, you should be able to click "Get Started" and go throught he proccess stp-by-step.

Gmail runs faster, has plenty of storage (7GB, yahoo's is unlimited) and the search is much, much, much better. Also, you can sync it with your desktop mail program via IMAP as well as POP, you can use it to collect mail from other accounts, and send mail from other "reply-to" addresses, and generally I have found it much more reliable. Yes, Gmail is the winner here.
