Outlook express has saved e-mail from a now defunct ISP provider. Can I simply change the account settings and forward to a Gmail account? If I change settings will I lose the e-mail. There are 2 different accounts to do this for.

Just add an account. You can have as many account as you want. I have three roadrunner accounts and a gmail account. Also you don't forward to gmail you forward from.
