As the question states. The reason is because I'm getting too much spam. And, if there's an alternative to deleting and recreating, how do I make the spam filter more strong? Emails under the same address keep coming through... thank you!
How long to wait after you delete a gmail username account to recreate it under the SAME username?

If you are not a premium user, you can't recreate the account.
If you are a premium user, you can resolve this issue in 5 days or max of a week.
Try this:
you will need to contact the GApps team in order to resolve this issue. It might eventually resolve itself. To see if this is
possible:
Login as Admin and go to the User accounts tab then the Users tab. Now select the Email addresses link. If deleted email address has a '*' in front of it, you will usually need to contact the GApps team.
If you need to contact them, login to your Control Panel. Go the Account information under the Domain tab. There is a phone number and an online method that you can use. Below are some options you have until this is resolved:

Reply:I think you can buy a spam blocker on line. If you ask me, spam blockers are great but sometimes they can get annoying!Hope it helps!!!!:)
