The next step would be to get my g-mail account hooked up to my MS outlook... anyone know where I can find a how-to page?
How can I set up my university mail account to forward all messages to my new gmail account?
Re: forwarding your univercity mail - ask the computer geeks / head of the IT department or look for info about that at the univercity.
Re: Getting your mail through Outlook - there are how to's on gmail's site, but you have to turn on pop in gmail's settings.
Follow gmail's instructions, they have odd port numbers you need to use.
By the way - Internet Explorer is big, slow, insecure and out-of-date. Try Firefox.
Outlook hasn't been updated in years. Try Thunderbird.
Both are free and incredibly customizable.

As far as ypur university account is concerned, it depends whether that account is from a provider like gmail, and is just masked to be your university. If thats the case, then you jus need to know the corresponding mail ID from actula provider and follow the instructions given in its support section. Bye... Best of Luck
Reply:get an email redir account at http://www.bigfoot.com/
