plz help i tried getting a youtube w/ my yahoo but never got the conformation email...so i wuz wondering if u had 2 have a google account 2 have a youtube
Do you have to have a google gmail account to have a youtube account?
It worked with my yahoo account...

Reply:Not necessarily. You do need a Google account to access some features, like the Community Help Forums. You can have an e-mail account on any website. You can also log in to YouTube with a Google account. You don't have to log in with your YouTube account. This is because, as you probably already know, Google owns YouTube.
