How do i add a secndary email address to my exsisting gmail account?

When you say a secondary email address, what I understand by that is that you want to have one more email-id but want to receive mails in the existing account (calling that as Primary a/c) for the new email is as well. If that is correct, here's the solution:

1. First of all, lets call your existing email-id as Primary a/c.

2. Now create a new GMail a/c at http://mail.google.com/mail/signup, and lets call this as Secondary a/c.

3. You can choose your any other existing a/c (must be POP) also to make it a scondary a/c.

4. Now login to your Primary GMail a/c and go to Settings (Upper right corner) and click on Accounts Tab.

5. Click on the link "Add a mail account you own" in "Get mail from other accounts" section.

6. It will open up a dialog, write the secondary email id and click on "next step" button

7. On next page, put the password. The POP Server must already be selected to "smtp.gmai.com", port 995. Let that be remain. In case of Non-Gmail secondary a/c, add the POP settings manually. You may also choose to label mails from secondary a/c to the suggested label or your own new label.

8. Click on Add Account.

9. Now you must start receiving mails from your secondary email address to your primary email address.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you face any problem while configuration.

Thanks,

ppuri
