How much memory can an email on my gmail account hold?

I plan to send over 1 gigabyte of songs I want from my sisters computer to my computer. How much memory can a gmail email hold?

Don't do it through email stupid, use a USB drive.

But to actually answer your question, like 7GB but attachments are limited to 20 or 25MB so you would have to send around 60 emails.
Reply:With GMail, an individual email cannot be more than 20 MB. If you're not familiar with these terms, there are 1024 megabytes in a gigabyte.

I'd suggest picking up a cheap USB flash drive and using that to transfer your songs instead. Much faster and easier. If you have an MP3 player, you could use that too.
