i heard people say that after so long/ year or so or whatever their stored emails in a gmail account have vanished/ been deleted etc.
just wondering if anyone knows how long i can keep emails in gmail before google decides to get rid of them?
if you know the same for msn, yahoo, aol or any other email provide that would be good.
How long will emails be stored in my gmail account?
Google (GMAIL) won't delete your emails... they will last forever.
However, Msn , Yahoo and others they don't also delete but the factor is of in-activity.
If you dont login to your account for about 1-2 months they will first de-activate your account then after sometime delete from their database.
Reply:Forever for gmail.
I have mails going back to May 2005, which is when I opened the account. I can't recall ever "losing" an email from that account.
Reply:nah, supposed to be forever, possible that spam might disappear though. as long as you log in regularly.
Reply:Never. unless you delete them yourself.
