How do you set up a Gmail account?

I went to the website and entered in my cell phone number to recieve my invitation via text message. However, I still haven't recieved it even though I have tried several times. I desperately want and need a Gmail account because its the only place available on my schools internet system.
How do you set up a Gmail account?
go to http://mail.google.com





click "sign up for gmail"





enter your info, and you will instantaneously have an active gmail account.





And if your school is using a firewall, learn about anonymous proxies. I cant be held liable though for any ramifications/disciplinary actions you may face if you choose to use the information you learn about anonymous proxies to get around your schools web filter(s).
Reply:have someone send you and invite. Set it up @ home then use it at school. If you are using email at school be careful. Most schools have it in their internet rules that you aren't allowed to check your email while at school and if you're caught be aware of the concequences. (I have gmail if you despirately need the invite)
