I would just delete any personal stuff that you have in there..Unless you can't get into it anymore. But basically you just leave it alone and I believe that after 30 days of not signing in it will automatically delete itself.
Reply:First, make very sure that is what you want to do, if you delete the account you can never get it back, or use that ID name, either.


Any other yahoo programs associated with your mail account will also be deleted.

Click on the help at the upper right corner of the screen from the account you want to delete.

To delete Gmail:


Click on 'Settings' at the top of screen,


then click on 'Accounts' in Settings.


Click on 'Google Account settings,' then 'Edit' link.


Click on 'Delete Gmail Service' and follow instructions.

Its simple...Follow the following steps:





(i) Click Settings at the top of any Gmail page, and open the Accounts tab.


(ii) Click Google Account settings.


(iii) Click Edit next to My products on the right side.


(iv) Click Remove Gmail permanently.
