How do you add a second e-mail address to your GMail account?

So i currently have one gmail e-mail address for my work, but i'd like to create a second one for my personal emails. How do I do this to make sure that both emails are on my google account??

This takes a few steps but is worth it.





First, create a new account on gmail.com.





Log out and login to your main Gmail account (the one you want to check)





Under settings click on accounts.





Click on Add account.





Add your credentials for the account you just created.





It will send a confirmation e-mail to the account you just added.





Login to your new account.





Follow the link in your inbox to be added to your other account.





You should be good to go!





There should be a setting but its location escapes me that lets you auto reply with whatever e-mail address people sent a message to. So you don't need to worry about replying. Just make sure that when you send e-mails you select the right address from the drop down menu.





You can follow these steps with as many e-mail address as you want!
