How do I change the settings for my Outlook Express as it won't send emails through my Gmail account?

I set it up when I got this machine a few weeks ago, but I have done it wrong again!!! My main account is a Yahoo one, but I prefer my Gmail one, so set it up for that but it won't send emails. Also, do I put in my Yahoo password or can I make up one? Thanks in advance folks.

you can click on "run the auto-configuration tool" to download and configure the settings; or follow the instructions to do it manually. Two points to bear in mind:





1. enable POP in your gmail account and save the changes

2. In Outlook express%26gt;Advanced, be sure to tick the box marked "leave a copy of messages on server" otherwise, Outlook express will download everything from the web and leave nothing!
