Is it possible to unsend an email sent to a GMAIL account?

I have outlook. I sent an emial to a gmail account. Now I want to unsend it. I have comcast. I clicked on outlook "recall message" now I am waiting for it to recall the message sent to the gmail account. Is it possible for it to succeed?

No, it's not possible. The "recall message" feature only works if you're sending the mail to someone who has Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 or later, so you cannot recall a message sent to a gmail account which is a POP3 mail account..

This is how it works. "recall message" feature will work only within the same email service only if that feature is enabled by that service. In your case, if you send an email to a comcast account, it can be recalled if comcast has that service enabled. But as far as I know comcast doesn't have it. Even if does, you cannot recall emails sent to other email service account simply because comcast does not have control over other company services and cannot recall from them.





So the bottom line is, you cannot recall.
Reply:I have Gmail and I don't think you can unsend a message once it is delivered. I could be wrong though.
